Originally our Icebox Intakes were made by hand in the garage out of 16 gauge cold rolled steel and then powder coated. Each Icebox Intake was an individual and so the lid would only fit that intake. We really wanted to take it to the next level so we searched and searched to find a manufacturer here in the US. It was hard to get the pricing and quality but we refused to outsource our intakes overseas.

The search was worth it and we found a fantastic manufacturer right here in our home State of Colorado. Working with these professionals we have completely fine tuned our complete line of Dodge Cummins Diesel Cold Air Intakes. We machine fitted every sensor mount and tweaked every angle for the best fit.

Our first new manufactured intakes were made out of anodized aluminum and they were really beautiful. To me they were like a work of art with our name laser cut into the lid. But I longed for something even better and more solid with a finish that would hold up even better. So after talking to the manufacturer we opted to go with all Stainless Steel. Oh how sweet it is!
